Technical problems in the flight control system over Italy have led to capacity restrictions in the airspace. They affect the schedules of several European airlines, including some Air Serbia flights.
Delays are possible on flights from Belgrade to Rome, Milan, Catania, Naples, Bologna and Venice, and on some flights to Spain, because part of the routes crosses Italian airspace. Passengers whose flights are significantly delayed are offered refreshments at the departure airport, and those who miss a connection because of the disruption get alternative travel options and new tickets.
It is not known when the restrictions will be lifted. Passengers are advised to check their flight status with the contact centre: 0800 111 528 from Serbia and +381 11 311 21 23 from abroad.
