Classes were suspended this morning in a large number of primary and secondary schools in Niš: pupils were led out of the buildings and police are checking the premises. The same threats arrived at 23 schools in the Jablanica district, including the music school in Leskovac and the "11. oktobar" school. The messages were sent around 10:30.
In the North Bačka district, threats reached schools in Subotica, Bačka Topola and Mali Iđoš at around 9:30. Teachers took the children out and parents were informed immediately. Checks showed the threats were false and classes resumed.
Similar cases in the area were recorded in early October and in June. The police high-tech crime unit is working to identify the senders.
