Spain's Civil Guard has designated four locations for missing-person reports after the train disaster in Urda: Madrid, Toledo, Seville and Córdoba. DNA samples are being collected at the same sites.

So-called ante-mortem offices have been set up within the command centres to gather information about the missing. The Judicial Police Unit and the Civil Guard's psychological support service are coordinating the work.

First-degree relatives — parents, children, siblings — can provide DNA samples to enable genetic matching for identification.
